Anyone ever seen/heard/or use this product? I googled it and it seems to be a really effective antioxidant.

What would be the typical dosage for RYR to help improve lipid profile? Thanks!

Red yeast rice and niacin work very synergistic together and was the first "statin" type drug used. However, my cardiologist told me not to take them unless I was getting monthly or bi-monthly BW done to monitor liver enzymes. I had no idea of this. He told me that they should be treated as any other statin. Just a side note.

OH! Well, crap! I just ordered up a bottle of RYR. I'm due for BW in just over two months so I'm gonna go ahead and give it a go. So is RYR pretty much ineffective without adding the niacin along with it?

It isn't ineffective at all. A lot of research has been done to verify this. The work synergistically (like test and masteron) but both are effective. BW can probably be avoided if you do like a 3month on, 1-2months off. Statins scare me. I'm telling you though, cholesteroff and CoQ10 together is a miracle for lowering cholesterol. I have 7 months of BW to prove it.

CoQ10...got some of that one the way as well. Hopefully I'll see some results from the red yeast rice and CoQ10.
