  • Opinion/Experiences on GHRPs after slin shot

I shoot my humalog pre. Carb drink is done usually 30-45 minutes before training is finished. If I was to shoot my Ipamorelin post workout, would the insulin spike still being in my system affect it? I know about no carbs/fat during a shot. It's hard enough to find anyone else that shoots slin pre and talks about it, let alone someone who takes a GHRP post as well.

Also, would 3g fat and 6g carbs from whey, say 15 minutes after the shot matter?

    Any info/insight is appreciated.

So I couldn't for the life of me figure out if you mentioned if an insulin spike regardless of any carbs/fat ingested makes a difference in GHRP action lol

Ipamorelin is a slightly different animal from the other GHRPs, a slightly different animal because it exerts its effects over a greater length of time and has a longer half-life than the other GHRPs. But in general, there should be no carbohydrate or fat consumption for at least 2 hours prior to the shot, and for at least 30 minutes after the shot. It will blunt the release of HGH from the pituitary. The majority of HGH release seems to be, from most GHRPs, within the first 30 minutes after administration. Let it do its thing and then you can hit the carbs. By then, HGH levels should be pretty high.

Thanks for the info Dan and Mini. Looks like it'll be pre-wo and not post.

          I'm not Admin, lol.

You can do your GH secretagogue peptides post-workout. In fact, it's recommended that you do it post-workout rather than pre (although there isn't anything wrong with doing it pre either). You just need to make sure you don't eat anything until 30 minutes has passed since you administered the GHRP/GHRH combo. Most people do this right when they're done their workouts at the gym, and then between that time and the commute home and whatever else, 30 minutes will have already passed and then they can eat their post-workout carbs.

Sorry haha, was in a rush and just saw color, so wrote Admin. What you just mentioned can't be done if I take my slin pre, as I finish my carb drink 30-45 minutes prior to post workout, correct?

Yeah if you're using insulin, then it's going to have to be that way.

Although inexpensive, I haven't found it to be noticeably effective enough to keep using it.
