    Toremifene... (Fareston)

    Who's used it?

Did you prefer it to other SERMs such as, Tamoxifen and Clomid?

    How was recovery?

  • #2
I want to know about this one as well. A friend of mine said he recovered better using only this compared for the standard nolvadex/clomid protocol. He used this for 5 weeks and bounced right back, even higher than when he started. Iam more interested in it for a low dose use on cycle. I am experimenting with SERMS instead of AIs, while getting monthly BW in order to confirm everything I am speculating.

I used to use it at 120mg/ED for the first 14 days, then 60mg/ED for 4 weeks. With either Tamox 20mg/ED or Clomid 25mg/ED.

      HCG ramp pre-PCT.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, Torem is basically a 2nd Gen serm, very similar to Tamox which is the 1st Gen. I agree, a Tamox/Torem combo (even though very similar compounds) is a MUCH preferred PCT protocol as opposed to the traditional clomid/tamox regimen. Clomid, IMHO, should perhaps go the way of the dinosaurs OR in very small dosages such as you used, Admin.

Clomid can raise LH levels quite a lot actually, so it should not be put aside totally. Its an option if others fail, such as Tore/Tamox.

Toremifene is a 2nd gen SERM, yes.

It comes down to personal preference and finding out which compound works for you. Try different combinations and see what YOU respond to.

I've also seen clomid prescribed here in the states for premature ejaculation. Serious.

                    Never heard of that before.

                    Have you got any data?

I stand corrected. Just made a call and asked him to send me a pic of the package. He did say clomid, but was confused because that was for his wife. His is clomipramine, so I can see the confusion. Hers is clomifene(clomid).

is it best used torem/ tamox together? Or would just one be okay, if so would one be a better choice? ( i have recently dropped the clomid for pct, this will be my first one with out it)

Tore and Tamox are much the same; however, I think that used together they give a much better pct than a single product. I agree with you, drop the clomid. Also, since tore/tamox are both much less "toxic" than clomid, one can extend pct out to 6 weeks without the jitters or vision sides associated with clomid. I think a nolva protocol of 20/20/20/20/20/20 is the way to go, but that's just my opinion. The tore, being even less "toxic" than nolva could be front loaded if you liked at say, 120/60/60/60/60/60. The nolva does exert a much great influence on raising Test levels in pct at a much smaller dose than clomid.

Clomid is just one of those "old school" compounds that did work and serve its purpose but as time progresses better products are invented and that's what has happened with the whole Tamoxifen, Clomid, Toremifene and Rolaxifene thing that everyone seems to be arguing about. I get it...guys have used clomid, its done what its supposed to do and it works....we just have stuff that works better now!
