  • New Member, experimenting for a couple months.

Hi everybody, my name is Shawn and I'm 31. I'm from Maine but I have been living in working in Saudi Arabia for the past 5 months. It really isn't as bad as you might think! One of the best parts about my new job here is that I have medical insurance. So, I took advantage of that and had my testosterone level checked. It was extremely low. I think my doctor said it was a 6.

Here is my testosterone supplement usage story so far: the doctor prescribed me some useless capsule that I didn't get anything from. I got fed up and talked to one of my friends here at the gym. He hooked me up with a box of Cypionax. It worked great! I was was injecting myself with 200mg every 6 days. I gained about 8 lbs of skeletal muscle mass in just over a month with no fat gain! I was so happy. I had been this bigger than this before, but it always came with lots of fat gain. When I would try to lose the fat, I always lost the muscle as well. These were the results I had always wanted. I was 6' tall and weighed 177 lbs with 8% body fat. For me, this was close to ideal. I know that some of you might read this and think that that is scrawny, but I felt like I looked really good!!!!

Then, problems started. As I neared the end of my supply, I needed to find more but my friend had gone back to America for a while. So, I decided to go to the hospital's endocrinologist and tell him what I had been taking. After explaining how I wanted my low T diagnoses to be taken seriously and that the self medication I had done was really effective for me, I was able to get a prescription for a Sustanon 250 injection once per week. I thought the problem was solved! I'm all set and my life has changed! But nope...

After being on only the Sustanon 250 for a month now, my muscle has dropped by about 3 lbs and my fat has gone up to 12%. I feel like I'm on the path to end up right back where I started. Now I'm wondering, what's up with Sustanon 250? Is it just not as powerful as the Cypionax?? This sucks! What should I do?

I also have other questions about how long I should be staying on this stuff for. My doctor doesn't know much about this stuff. He had to look up everything he prescribed for me on the spot and it seemed like it was the first time he had ever dealt with it. I'm wondering if I am damaging my own ability to produce T but I don't want to suggest that to him for fear that he with lose confidence in what he is giving me.

I have also been in touch with a doctor who has a T replacement clinic in Maine who says he can hook me up with all the right treatment. I am going to see him when I go back in the summer. But until then, I am hoping to discuss the things I am taking with you all and hopefully get some tips from those who know the ins and outs of taking testosterone.

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

    Firstly, welcome to Steroidal.com.

What dosage were you taking of Cypionax?

Are you going back to the USA anytime soon?

Anabolic steroids aren't available in the pharmacies of SA?

Ah, yeah I meant to say, I was using 200 mg of Cypionax every 6 days.

Sustanon is the only one available here according to my doctor.

I'm going back to the states in July.

      Thanks for the welcome!

Sustanon is a blend of 4 testosterone esters, you should'd experience much of a difference from switching, its the same parent hormone - Testosterone.

        Are you sure its legit?

Can you get more blood tests done? Perhaps your estrogen has built over time.

Can you also get hold of DHEA? It comes in oral form, its cheap and widely available in most places.

Yeah, I'm sure it's legit. It comes directly from one of the best hospitals in the region. I can get more blood tests done and have one scheduled next month.

What's up with estrogen being built up? I have been taking testosterone for about 9 weeks. Is it likely that this has occurred?

I might be able to get DHEA at GNC.

Also, I have nolvadex but don't take it. I just bought some in case I started getting gyno.

Not much you can do until you get blood tests done IMO.

You can try resetting hormone levels by stopping the Sustanon but you may exprience low testosterone symptoms. Thats best done with short esters.

Are you suffering from erectile dysfunction? Do you wake up with an erection?

Can you get any herbs, such as Tribulus? They may aid in sexual desire.

What do you mean by "that's best done with short esters"?

I don't have any sexual dysfunction. I'm just worried about the fat gain and muscle loss I have been having since switching to Sustanon.

I was thinking about trying to get more Cypionate and running it in combination with the sustain that I have been taking.

Also, at what point do I need to start coming off the testosterone? I'd like to stay on it until July, but don't want to damage my body.

Your sex drive is fine, its just the muscle loss and fat gain?

Has your diet and/or training changed?

It's hard to say if it has changed. Maybe I need to go back to basics on my diet, but I was making good gains and not eating that well in the beginning.

How long is it reasonable to take 250 ml per week before coming off? I'd like to take it until July when I go see the doctor in Maine...

Did you take a break after using the Test Cyp? Or straight onto running the Sust as well?

You need to get some HCG IMO. We have a profile on the main side about it.

The gains from anabolic steroids will slow anyway, you need to change your training up and diet. If you're weight has risen, you need to eat the amount of food to maintain that weight AND more to gain again.

I just went straight on to running Sustanon. I have some HCG in my refrigerator now, but I don't want to go off this stuff yet...

The change in my body was surprising, because I was eating whatever I wanted and gaining muscle and not fat. However, soon after I switched over to Sustanon the free ride seemed to be over.

I think I need to go back to a more disciplined routine with my diet and exercise

If you have never used steroid before or have done and taken a lengthy break then go back to using anabolic steroids again, the gains will be better than doing back to back steroid cycles.

You should be used HCG at 250ius 2-3x per week. We have a sticky in the main forum on this.

So, I went to the doctor yesterday so that I could receive the results to a recent blood test. I could tell he predicted this dip I am experiencing and told me that my LH level is down. After I give a semen sample on Monday and get that result back, I am going to start receiving HCG shots twice per week.

I hope that makes everything go back up again! I'm also wondering if my sex drive will ramp up again.

Your LH will be near zero anyhow because of the Sustanon jabs you're doing.

I suggest you get some oral DHEA 25mg AM and PM.

                            Check estrogen and prolactin levels.
