  • Question should I use or not??

Hey guys I love to workout and I've taken pretty much every supplement out there, but my body has plateaued so I'm considering taking some type of steroid. I'm 30 years old and workout 5-6 days a week and my nutrition is good, but the biggest problem is my body is a wreck.. Shoulders hurt, elbows hurt. Would taking a steroid help or hurt me more? Also what would u suggest taking? Thanks I appreciate any feedback.

Probably not what you want to hear, but if you have to ask others if you should take steroids or not, you shouldn't. This is a decision you have to decide after informing yourself about the risks and benefits of them. Maybe you just need a change. Lift heavier, or more volume, change in diet, more cals, less cals, more sleep. There are so many variables. Maybe diet to lean up for awhile, then go back to trying to put on size. Or vise versa depending on what you're doing now.

As for the joint pain, maybe it's something that can easily be solved with over the counter drugs. I've heard very good things about the product Animal Flex, although I have little experience with joint discomfort, so maybe someone else can chime in.

      Welcome Mdrew3.

You say you train almost everyday of the week, what does your routine look like? Are you lifting 5 or 6 days a week, or are you counting cardio only days as a workout? The reason I ask is because if you're not getting enough rest / recovery time, your gains can be hindered. Also, what is your daily intake?

I've been lifting now for about 10 years.. Ive changed my workouts, my diet, cardio. Right now I'm doing 1 body part a day with 20-30 min of cardio. I've tried taking animal flex and other joint stuff but none helped. My daily intake is around 2000 calories and I recently just cut 15 lbs. I wanna get bigger, stronger, and my body to stop hurting.

Ok, if you want to get bigger, 2000 calories is just a sliver of what you need. Do you know how to design a bulking diet? We can help.....

Agreed. Lets get that started up first. Sometimes AAS can give us a mental edge that our bodies just cant take. Alot of times if I have a slight injury, I will tell myself to push through and get that weight and last rep. So if your body is in shambles, keep up your work, and lets get the diet figured out. When that works, then other supplements can be added or discussed. Good luck man!

I'm not really concerned about my diet.. I eat around 2000 calories a day if not more and am getting plenty of protein/fats. My diet is clean as well, but I'm tired of taking supplements from Bodybuilding.com it seems like I've tried them all. What do u guys recommend?

I recommend fixing your diet. You are not ready for steroids because you don't understand diet is the most important aspect. Steroids do nothing without proper fuel. You're eating 2000 calories and doing cardio everyday. No wonder you're plateaued. I'm eating 4700 a day with no cardio while cutting weight. Roids aren't for you because you fail to comprehend the basics, and get cocky saying you aren't worried about diet; when in fact diet is EVERYTHING.

I understand that diet is everything, that's a given. My calories are lower because I recently just cut and dropped 15 lbs so I'm familiar with dieting. That still doesn't fix my injury problem though.

Have you tried Cissus for your elbows/shoulders? I found the herb amazing for aches and pains when exercising or afterwards.

Can you post your diet? I expect we can tweak it for you, then hit the pedal on the anabolic steroids if you feel the need to. As said above, without a proper nutritional approach, steroids wont have their full effects.
