    Hi guys,

I am week 7 into a test enanthate 500/week split into 2 jabs. BP was fine until week 5. Now hovering around 140/80 to 140/84. I was taking exemestane 6.5 mg daily. Just upped it to 12.5 daily. . Just did bloodwork today to check my e2 levels. I am on fish oil, co q 10, niacin to control cholesterol. My question- Do I need additional supps/drugs to lower my BP at these levels? Should I resort to a Beta blocker like atenolol? Or an ace inhibitor?

    Are you doing cardio?

Stop putting extra salt on food and watch sodium intake.

And you aren't "super" high, but if your normal BP is much lower, this can be concerning for long periods. I have found that a low dose of Cialis helps most men who are borderline high to become normal again. But there again, that's one more compound to add to your list. I use it and it helps me, but I take BP meds and beta blockers prescribed for the last 17 years. Good luck and great to see you here again!

Thanks for the replies and the welcome back

Salt intake is not high ( upto 1 gram daily) and I do cardio 4-5 times a week. 3 sessions of 30 mins and 1-2 sessions of 45 mins. Keep my HR between 125 and 140. Normally my BP is text book normal 120/80 or lower. My Estradiol (E2) results are within the normal range-26 pg/ml. (it was 17 pg/ml before starting the cycle). Normal is 11-44 pg/ml. Test is "above 3460".

I read a study on Cialis/Viagra and results were not clinically significant (very small drops in BP)

Could it hurt if I take a small dose of a beta blocker, say atenolol at 25 mg daily for the rest of the cycle-4 to 5 weeks and then taper off over a week? Could adding a beta blocker result in a dependency later on?

It won't hurt a bit. And it isn't habit forming, so you're good there. But keep in mind it may not have as much of an impact as an ace inhibitor, so just keep monitoring it. I wouldn't take it after your cardio sessions either. Or if you do cardio in the am, take it before bed. It can make you sleepy as well while getting used to it, so just be careful driving and the likes the first couple of days. Also, cialis is now being prescribed for blood pressure for alot of middle aged men now. Keep us updated on the progress.
