Melatonin is a joke for me. And what most people dont realize is that it isnt meant to make you fall asleep. Its proper use is to "reset" sleep patterns. It takes me like a half a bottle to even get groggy. Ill take Ambien anyday, as it is a great way to sleep. I do want to try that Delta Sleep Inducing Peptide though. ... It's the natural hormone that tells your body you're tired as helps you sleep, stay asleep, and sleep deeper. I'm the same way I almost had to go to therapy. Like... If I went for a walk I had to know the time, the pace, how long, how far? I was so anal about things like I wouldn't go to bed unless it was dead on the hour. Like if it was 10:15 and I was dead tired I would have stayed up until 11 so I know when I wake up Ill be able to EASILY calculate how long I slept. It sucks. And I have soe OCDs that make it worse. I try to control things I have no control over. I have days planned out in advance even though I am not ever guaranteed tommorrow. I have to start living and doing what is happening now and let tommorrow handle itself.
