Squats and lunges do wonders for the butt. Light weight leg presses going high reps to failure is another good one to work in (mostly because it works the quads with the squats). Good mornings are another fantastic exercise to start your glutes routine. They really stretch the hamstrings and prep you forbsquats and lunges.
