  • This is what I have taken so far. What do you guys think?

After having taken testosterone for almost three months now, I am wondering if I have messed it up at all and if I need to cycle off. Here is what I have done so far:

First 8 weeks, 200 mg Cypionax every 6 days

Went to a doctor and he prescribed me Sustanon

Next 4 weeks Sustanon 250 1 injection per week.

Now, my results have slowed down and so has my sex drive. My LH level is low. I am going to start getting 2 HCG injections every week. Also, from now on I am bumping it up to 500 mg of sustain per week (I want to get slightly bigger) (I was able to use my prescription at two different places for double the supply).

Do I need to cycle off and then start again? Or am I fine if I just get on the HCG? The doctor hasn't mentioned me taking a break at all...

I guess what I really want to know is: Is it risky to continue on taking T for another 12 weeks without taking a break?

Your sex drive and energy levels will drop if you conduct a PCT. You will have the symptoms of low testosterone.

You can stay on, but the longer you're on the harder it is to recover after.

You should look at going on HRT, how old are you?

I think you need to make a choice and stick to what you're doing.

            1. You're on cycle at 250-500mg/wk of Testosterone.

            2. You're on HRT at 100-200mg/wk and going to do this for the foreseeable future.

            3. You're off cycle and going to use anabolic steroids, on/off throughout the year and conduct PCTs.

I am 31. I have been diagnosed with low testosterone and am guessing that I have always had low testosterone. I really want to stay on it forever.

Yep. Is that an odd thing to be prescribed? I'd be happy to show you my prescription.

Yes I am being prescribed Sustanon for low testosterone level. I am tempted to write you a really detailed account of my experimentation with testosterone starting back in November, but I don't want to bog you down with details or come off as annoying. However, I really would like someone who knows what they are doing to give me some advice and know where I'm coming from. If you are interested, I wrote quite a bit in my intro:

This is good advice. I guess I'm on cycle while my endocrinologist thinks I am on HRT.

Thats no problem, but then after the cycle you need to go down to 100-200mg/wk Testosterone and not worry about "recovering".

You need to get blood tests done when on HRT to check stuff like estrogen is in range. If its not, you need an AI. You also need to see where your total T and free T are.

Your LH, FSH will be zero as your body is not producing it when on exogenous testosterone.

How often and at what dose does your doc have you doing shots? Typically you'll see test cypionate being prescribed

Thanks, this is exactly what I needed to know. Also, I went to the doctor today and got HCG for the first time. Should I expect to get sexual function back to 100% after seeing it fall over the past few weeks?

Lastly, I asked about testing for estrogen and he said something like he doesn't need to test for estrogen because I'm not a woman.?? Whatever, I haven't experienced any side effects so far but am thinking about taking some kind of AI to be on the safe side.

I kind of wish it was cypionate. The last two sustanon injections I got ended up giving me a really sore ass for a couple days. That never happened to me with cypionate, although I was injecting that into my shoulder. I'm not looking forward to seeing how sustanon feels in the shoulder...

The doc has me injected 1 time per week with 250 mg sustanon. On top of that, I am going to inject myself with 250 mg more every week with out him knowing.

If your doctor said he didn't need to test because you aren't a woman, he is a blithering idiot. I can't believe he would say that, but goes to show alot of doctors are untrained in hrt. Estrogen is the most important factor with this therapy, and it is the worse hormone for a man (in supralogical terms). We all need it to a degree, but not as much as can come from conversion. Ask your doctor why gynecomastia and water retention happens? Or why you get overly emotional.
