  • BTW, where can I find the cruise doses for certain pro's? I know I'll be taking 150mg a week but I was just searching google 'kevin levrone cruise dose' and this popped up in one of the searches: Does Kevin Levrone Regret Juicing?

    Very interesting thread.

    Another interesting thread: http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/an...-906823-5.html

what you fail to understand is i train with some very large individuals and two will go pro. i have insight into what the big boys are doing and using. yet you want to search the internet and talk to a bunch of skinny kids who will go no where and are just guessing.

To be frank, I am disappointed. I'm also emotionally drained at not having a social life and it effects my training quite a bit.

Yeah man, good luck finding any reliable info on IFBB pro steroid cycles. There's very little out there and what is there won't be reliable. Even retired pros no longer competing won't really tell you what they used, and who's to blame them? There's too much potential for dumbasses to copy a pro cycle and wind up totally fuked up. I wouldn't want to expose myself to even the remotest risk of a civil suit stemming from posting cycle details as a pro bodybuilder.

Does anyone believe that Dorian Yates used to use a little sust and deca in his offseason to grow, and throw in a little winni for his prep? Or that Ronnie didn't start to cycle until he'd already gone pro? These guys are not going to be reliable about the truth.

Pretty much this. The people you WILL get the truth from are the guys that trained with the pros before the pros were pros. And every time I read something one of these guys writes, it's always a sharp contrast to Yates' "Oh I ran 500 mg sust every week during the off season and that's how I got to 280+ grainy veiny pounds."

Dude, thanks for the progress pics! Good shit. Try not to be disappointed man, shit takes time even with gear. Think about all the shit you've had to overcome and be proud of your progress. Being in school and trying to build a professional future is tough, it takes time away from working and the jobs you do end up working are just for a little side cash, and we all know that gear and food can be pricey. It's not easy to be at your point in life and also be so dedicated in the gym. Pat yourself on the back for that bro.

Just keep at it as best you can. I think having a social life would be helpful, maybe look into some things to get involved with in you immediate area. Something like volunteering with a charitable organization can expose you to new people and would also look very good on a résumé. I volunteer with an organization in NH called "Arts in Reach."

I think Ronnie was natural winning his pro card. I'd like to think he was. I actually PM'd him at another board and his reply was this, "No "supplements" bro... one of the shows was even tested, I passed. I thank the lord for the genetics he has given me, very blessed.

Thank you for the kind words and glad I could inspire you to get into bodybuilding.

All the best to your family too,

                      Big Ron"

I know, he's not going to admit to the use of PED's, but to get to his size of 320-330lbs in the offseason and compete at 300lbs, do you think he was on grams and grams of stuff to win his first show? I dont. He was either clean, or on hardly anything at all.

He has unreal genetics as well. I've followed him for the last 10 years and he's grown consistently every year. He was massive in his late teens and early twenties. A lot said he'd do well and he didn.

                          • Just destroyed legs. Holy shit, did good but coulda done better. Going to go heavier next time on the half rep box squats. That's def a quad killer and I loved it. First time doing it in years.

I'm also going heavier on leg presses without knee wraps. I never use 'em for anything.

There ya go buddy, keep focusing on the positive. 2014 will be a big year for you with lots of improvement.

                              U wot m8?

No one competes at 300 lbs and 5'11" or whatever Ronnie was. There is no way for a human being to hold that much muscle and yet be lean enough to win a pro card with testosterone levels within a normal range. I do not believe anyone has become an IFBB pro without considerable PED use since before the "Golden Age."

Think about it like this: what's Ronnie's motivation to lie? Answer: he was an LEO for a good many years. He is VERY likely drawing a pension from the municipality in which he served. With lucrative bodybuilding contracts, why else would he continue to put himself in harm's way as an officer while enjoying the first several years of success as an IFBB pro and Mr. O? Because he needed to put in enough years to qualify for retirement and draw from the pension! Otherwise, why not just take the Muscletech/Weider money and be a fulltime IFBB pro? That pension provides him with tens of thousands of dollars annually even to this day, helping ensure his comfort now. Given the oath he swore to uphold the law during the years he was working for his pension, and the very real possibility that he could've been on the sauce when he was hired by the force to begin with, his denying PED use during his early years competing (while he was also an officer) is very understandable.

I am not sure what restrictions on these pensions apply, but I do know that a municipal government will look to save money any way they can - that's why they hired my company - so if they could get any legal reason to yank Ronnie's pension, I'm sure they would. Municipal budgets are very tight and they're always trying to find ways to save money to allocate elsewhere.

So I have a feeling Ronnie's deception has more to do with him covering his own ass than his exceptional genetics. With that said, he does have incredible genetics and I believe that he was able to get more results from less PEDs than most other human beings can.

Dude I trained legs tonight as well! Keep going heavy and hitting it hard, but smart to avoid injury bro!

                              • I think 2014 will be a huge year for me.

                                Reason being:
                                - Cruising on AAS....I'm never going back. I feel much more confident in my life than ever before. I have suffered from depression all my life without medication and oddly enough, medical research has shown recently that higher testosterone amounts to better overall state of being. I'm pretty sure I was low on T but it's just made me feel much better.

With that said, I'll grow much faster this year than any other year. I still have a huge amount of work to do for chest though. Weak as shit.

And Jason, I always warm up very well for anything, whether upper or lower body. I'm really taking to warming up the treadmill for at least 3 to 5 minutes to get the blood flowing. Then static and dynamic stretching.
